The EC 60 hydraulic breaker hammer is part of the Atlas Copco EC series, which is a lineup of top-quality hydraulic breakers built to withstand demanding applications.

The "EC" in the name stands for "Epiroc," a leading global supplier of mining and construction equipment, which merged with Atlas Copco's mining and rock excavation division. One of the key features of the EC 60 is its exceptional power-to-weight ratio, making it suitable for use on a wide range of carriers, such as excavators and backhoe loaders. This feature allows operators to achieve higher productivity and reduce operating costs without compromising on performance. The hydraulic breaker hammer operates by utilizing the hydraulic power from the carrier to pressurize oil and store it in the hydraulic accumulator. When the operator triggers the hammer, the pressurized oil is released into the piston chamber, driving the piston downward with tremendous force. This force is then transferred to the chisel, which strikes the material, creating the breaking effect.
